I have tried to standardize the house on TP-Link devices and control them through Alexa. The outliers are the myQ garage door control and the pantry light controlled by WiZ. The preferred smart lightbulbs are the GE Phillips ones. They use the Cync application for control.

Controlling Outlet Plugs

Use TP-Link Smart WiFi Plug Mini outlets. Connect with the Kasa application and then define the routines through the Alexa app. Use the existing configuration as the guide.
