Paperless-ngx is a community-supported open-source document management system that transforms your physical documents into a searchable online archive so you can keep, well, less paper.
Locations
Application: Docker on chico1 Database: Internal Data Repository: qnap:/Public/paperless Consume Folder: qnap:/Public/paperless/consume
Workflow
There are two input sources from documents. It is easy to drop various forms of documents into the application. They are processed, converted to PDF, if appropriate, and stored. Actual paper documents are scanned with the Epson photo/document scanner and placed into the consume folder where Paperless will see them and start the process.
After scanning, each document needs to be reviewed and categorized. The categorization is important so that they can be grouped and found.
ToDo
While the application is up to date, Paperless is not currently part of the existing Docker structure.
